Considered one of the greatest programming language's ever, this multi platform programming language has many uses on web pages. Its problem? Sometimes it leaves a nasty grey boarder around your applet. Another problem is most programs take a ton of time to load. Besides that...Java's pretty good.

There are many resources for JAVA on the 'net. If you don't care to learn the language, free JAVA applets are everywhere. Look at my navbar. This was made with CSS and Javascript (provided by Guistuff.com).
